About MavelleArt

Based in County Donegal, Ireland, Mavelle Art was founded with a simple belief: in a world filled with digital images, AI and mass-produced prints, there is still something special about a piece of art created by a real person.

We transform your photographs, memories and creative inspiration into individually hand-painted oil paintings, created stroke by stroke on canvas.

Your photograph is only the beginning.

Our artists can simplify a busy background, combine people from different photographs, include a beloved pet, adjust colours to suit your interior, or reinterpret your image in a style you love.

The result is not simply a reproduction.

It is a painting created especially for you.

Living in Donegal has also given Mavelle Art a special connection to the extraordinary landscapes of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

Its cliffs, mountains, coastlines and changing Atlantic light inspire our growing collection of hand-painted Irish landscapes — and customers can also send us their own photographs of places that mean something to them.

Whether it begins with a family photograph, a treasured memory, an Irish landscape or simply a piece of art that inspires you, our aim is the same:

to turn something you love into a painting made to be kept.

Hand-painted. Never printed. Made for you.

At the heart of MavelleArt is our community of talented artists. Each painter in our studio has undergone rigorous training and brings years of experience to their work. Many of our artists specialize in specific styles or periods, ensuring that every reproduction captures the essence and technique of the original masterpiece.

We're proud to provide our artists with fair compensation, excellent working conditions, and opportunities for continuous learning and growth. When you purchase from MavelleArt, you're not just getting a beautiful painting—you're supporting skilled artisans and keeping traditional art techniques alive.
