Based in County Donegal, Ireland, Mavelle Art was founded by Amy Higgins, who was captivated by the extraordinary natural beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way. Its dramatic coastlines, quiet landscapes and ever-changing light felt too special to exist only in photographs — they deserved to be captured in oil and treasured for generations.

The Wild Atlantic Way is more than a landscape. It reflects the character, heritage and stories of Ireland, and for many people it is simply home.

At Mavelle Art, you can upload your own photograph of a place that means something to you, and our artists will recreate it by hand, stroke by stroke, as an original oil painting — no AI shortcuts and no printed reproductions. You can choose the style, colours and mood you prefer, or explore some of our previous paintings for inspiration.
